What about me...
Junior right now:
1600 PSAT, haven't taken SAT's yet. ( I don't know the correlation between PSAT and SAT scores).
Lots of extra curriculars including classes at art academy of Cincinnati etc.
GPA is about a 3.8 unweighted, 4.1 weighted.
Taking AP studio, bio, and US history this year.
Euro 4 Soph year.
Taking AP virgil, AP physics, AP calc ab, AP english, and AP gov next year.
My portfolio is very strong, taken portfolio development classes, and I would consider my portfolio the strongest asset amongst all others on my application.
My chances for Wash U?

and me!!!! (currently junior, bilingual, good public high school)
SAT I - 1470: 760V, 710M
By the end of high school, I will have taken about 11 or 12 AP classes. The rest are honors or required. I was the first sophomore to ever take AP studio art (I got a 4, and have improved a LOT since then).
I've won various awards for English and art over the years.
Piano - twice a week for 11, 12 years
Essays and recs should be fabulous.
Portfolio - very strong. On Wash U's website there are links to the drawing work of all of their freshman, and my work was up to par, or better than, the best of them. (I was surprised).
Not-so-good: No other EC's. None.
I'll probably apply early.
Thanks for any input.

i dont know how good wash u's art program is. i've heard its not that great since it is a uni known more for science. thats why you'll probably get in if wash u looks more at the portfolio for art students. i think you forgot to post up your gpa. but nice sat score. getting a 4 on the AP test might hurt you.

Anybody heard anything yet on Conway-Proetz or Friends of Music? If so, when were you notified? Email, phone, or letter? I know all the other major scholarship notifications (Moog, Lien, etc.) were sent out this past week, but I haven't seen anything on the Fine Arts ones yet.
