Arthurdent: they do let ECs know.
my EC said she'll know in early Dec, prolly earlier than me. But if i get deferred, I dno't want her to tell me, so i'm holding out. ECs have *special powers*. haha. she could see my application too and i was like wha?!?!?
dammit. so maybe I didn't get in, if my EC didn't call me. DAMMIT!

I know they let EC's know. However, earlier information suggested that they would be notified 5pm Friday.

Congratulations! Strangely, I learned about your acceptance two hours before you did (my mom's a local EC) but figured you'd rather find out on your own. Best of luck at MIT, and it will be an honor to have you here next fall.
