Recently, wash u sent a letter saying that I received a travel grant to come visit. Now considering that I had not sent in an app at the time, does anyone know how I got selected and what it means in terms of admissions?

I'm applying RD and I'm not a recruited athlete or URM. BTW, I did go. It was a lot of fun.

if it was in october, they got it from the psat. if you are a female and wrote down engineering for your intended major and are now a natl merit commended/semifinalist, they would've invited you.

Call the admissions department and ask them why you were chosen and what a travel grant covers. They have an 800#. My son was offered a travel grant to another college and it basically covered the cost of a round trip air fare.
