I like Clark for programs and small college environment but is it worth the difference in cost vs a state university?

This could easily be a more general question, Clarkbound - is a small, private college environment "worth the difference" vs. an economical state university.
This kind of question is really unanswerable in general - a lot depends on the student, how he/she learns, how he/she might develop intellectually and socially in one environment or the other, the specific programs of interest, etc.
Family financial circumstances play a role, too - for some families, an extra 15K a year would be an inconvenience, but doable - for others, it might be financial suicide.
Sorry to not answer the question more directly, Clarkbound... if you care to, let us know a little more about your interests and what appeals to you about each environment.

Winterfresh--what do you like about Clark? How did you decide to apply there?

I liked the small campus size, diversity, and it's location in a suburban/urban area. It really seems perfect. Unfortunately, it's not my first-choice school anymore but it would be great to get in.
