SAT: 1310 (640 V/670 M) ... im going to take the act since i only missed 1 cr and the rest were analogies.

GPA: 3.2 UW at a private college prep school.

Upward trend: 2.8 F/3.05 S/3.5 J/3.8 S.

The only B's that i had last year or this year are in theology classes (which somehow count for all the damn uc's... wow my schools sucks) and a bullsh** journalism class.

Taken 2 classes at a community college and im taking 1 right now. 2 A's on the transcript so far. Taken 2 classes next semester and 3 during the summer.

SAT II: I took them in december but didnt get to finish any section. Writing was totally screwed up since i was in a "complex" situation and the test was administered to me in the library and i was obviously not given enough time since i didnt even get to read 12 questions, while on the 2 practice tests i took, i was finished within 45 min. No need to continue to complain about that, i just gotta get ready for the next test. Other SAT 2 tests should be at least 650, and hopefully in december i will get all 680+. Lets just assume that ive got triple 650's.

CA Resident.

URM.

100% of my school goes on to college... about 75-80% go to a 4 year.

School doesnt rank.

Havent written the essays yet but they should be really good.

So what are my chances? Pleae be as honest and possible, and if the situation doesnt look good, then please suggest some schools to apply to.

Thanks,

culovv

It's possible you can get in. I think Berkeley prefers 700+ if possible on SAT IIs. I'd suggest applying to schools like Davis, Santa Cruz, Irvine, Riverside, Santa Barbara, etc. just in case you do not get in. What is your major? However, if you are a URM, then your chances might be better. Be aware, though, that Berkeley does not practice AA. Make sure the URM part shows through on your essays if that is very important to you. Where in California are you, just out of curiosity? I'm another Berkeley applicant from San Jose. Best of luck to you!
