hey guys, what do you think?
South Korean international applicant
-attends a tiny catholic high school in Utah (class size 40)
-top 10%
GPA 3.92 (unweighted)
school doesn't do rank for international students
SAT I: 800m 760v
SAT IIs
Math IIC 790
Chemistry 780
Writing 640 (will retake on Nov.)
Physics high 700s (will take on Nov.)
AP Cal BC 5
AP Chem 4
total five AP classes offered,
I took/am taking three of 'em
some AP exams I took/will take after self-study because the school doesn't offer them (such as AP Chem)
-cross-country: 10-12 varsity letter, team took state champs 5 years in a row. Academic All-State, All-Region
-track: 11-12 varsity letter, 2nd place team in the state
-tae-kwon-do: took since I was young. black belt
-band: violin
-piano: performed several solos
-webmaster of my class page in 2001
-will be eagle scout on January
-Volunteer at a local hospital
-Volunteer recruiter at the hospital
-founded Diplomacy club
-Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award: $24,000 Scholarship to U of Rochester
-some work experience (tutoring, gardening)
-church volunteer- religious services for widows

is this your first choice school?....i think you have a great chance.....how u gonna manage the enormous tuition of washu considering the fact that u r international?

well.. i will probably apply for scholarship. but if they don't spare some money for me, I will have to reconsider.
