Okay, someone clue me in. I ran across this site while surfing the web. There was an old discussion about St. Regis University. It appeared there were opinions on both sides. Good and bad. My question is this. Does anyone know if degrees from St. Regis are accepted by an accrediting insitution such as Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in the U.S.?

HARLEY, AS YOU KNOW ST. REGIS DOES NOT HAVE REGIONAL ACCREDITATION AND AS SUCH WILL NOT BE CURRENTLY RECOGNIZED BY ANY OF THE STANDARD REGIONAL ACCREDITING AGENCIES. HOWEVER, THIS DOES NOT PRECLUDE ACCEPTANCE OF THEIR DEGREE BY INDIVIDUAL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, OR FOR THAT MATTER-EMPLOYERS. THE KEY TO ACCEPTANCE OF THE DEGREE IS BASED ON HOW YOU PRESENT IT: NATIONAL ACCREDITATION BY THE LIBERIAN MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND RECOGNITION BY THE LIBERIAN CONSUL GENERAL IN THE UNITED STATES. FINALLY, LEGITIMACY FOR THEIR PROGRAM IS GREATLY ENHANCED IF YOU CAN GET ONE OF THE VARIOUS DEGREE/CREDENTIAL SERVICES TO WRITE YOU A FAVORABLE REVIEW. HOWEVER, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY GETTING AN EVALUATION FROM THE WISCONSIN BASED SERVICE-HE IS RABIDLY OPPOSSED TO ST. REGIS. BEST OF LUCK.
