I have a 3.7 GPA taking alot of difficult classes. (I.E. Calculus, AP European history, Honors Physics) From reading most of these posts, it seems that what you take on your senior year is a big thing. Since i have exhausted all their math cources here in my High School and most of their science I took alot of social sciences. (I.E. AP macro/Micro economics. AP Political science. AP comparative Goverment).
My SAT score was 1500, went to FBLA competitions but didn't win anything, except a certificate of acknowledgement. For science olympiad made one of those rubber band powered aircraft, unfortounally it didn't leave the ground. Only thing I believe participated in and actually won something is chess tournements. Participation counts right?
Here are my E.C's:
1. FLBA
2. Honors Society
3. Science Olympiad
4. Cultural Filipino Dancing
5. Church Youth Group
6. Saxophone
7. Debate
Awards:
1. Fourth place in State Chess Tournament
2. Science Olympiad Acheivement of Boomalevers
etc.etc.etc (alot of awards on classes, too long to list)
