SF state university has a great location and most of my friends are going there next year. My older sister's two best friends graduated there with a degree in child psychology and they are both very smart and respectable people. People usually see CSU's as a place for people who couldn't get in UC's, and although that might be true in a lot of cases, it doesn't mean CSU's don't have very intelligent students or that one cannot succeed if one attends one.

SF is great, do I really need to describe it? Its the cultural center of the west coast and the only universities I know of that are located in SF, not near it like Stanford or Berkeley, are USF (expensive private school), UCSF (med school not open to undergrads) and SF state.
