I was wondering, how hard is it to get into this university. I am thinking about applying for it and wanted to get your guys' opinions.

Not as tough as the Ivies, but not too easy, either. They accept 30% of their applicants. SAT breakdown is (25/75 percentile):
Verbal: 630 - 710
Math: 660 - 740
Combined: 1290 - 1450
85% of their acceptees are in the top 10% of their class.

It is quite tough to get in , as the acceptance right is quite low and requirements very high !!!

i posted in another thread, in HS i took no AP classes, low GPA, middle-weight classes for some, top 25% in class, no clubs, maybe one or 2 volunteer activities, but i trasnferred fomr a CC

I was waitlisted last year with a 1570 SAT, 35 ACT, top 3% of class, National Merit Finalist, etc. Decent ec's but nothing spectacular.

When I met with the representative from Wash U when she came to my school I asked about the USP. She said in the last two years, there were about 10 people accepted to USP, but none chose to go to Wash U.
