I have taken both the ACT and the SAT. I took the ACT twice, got a 30 the first time, and a 31 the second. I was planning on going to college in-state (University of Kansas), where the ACT is primarily looked at. However I decided to take the SAT just for kicks, but ended up not feeling well that day and only got a 1260. In general will this score of 1260 hurt me even though I scored the 30 and 31 on the ACT? (comparable to a 1380 or so on the SAT). Ultimately the question is whether or not I should try to get the SAT score off of my highschool transcript (I'm planning on transferring from KU next fall). Any and all input would be much appreciated.

Don't send your SAT score; only send your ACT(the better one). When you transfer your highschool is pretty pointless as well -- the college you transfer to will want your KU transcript.

The registrar at my S's high school deleted all standardized test scores from his transcript before we send it to colleges. The colleges want the official scores directly from the testing agencies anyway. His last ACT test was much better than the SAT scores. There's no reason to let the colleges know about them. If you ask your HS, they will probably cover up the scores on your transcript.

The colleges are gonna see ur SAT scores even if you don't want to send them. Therefore, just retake it and show them your true ability.
