please help me rate my chances!
im having trouble deciding whether to go columbia ED or Cornell ED, im not sure about my chance at columbia.
Im also thinking about johns hopkins, nyu and others


im a chinese american senior from long island
gpa: a 3.9 UW over 4.0 W
rank: 20/226 around top 8%
psat:201 (maybe commended)
sat: 710V 740M might retake
sat II: 700 bio, 680 writing, 690 physics, 700 IIc (retaking in oct) I think ill get at least 720 in writing and 750 in IIC.
Courses: 11 Aps, 5 aps senior year (chem, comp sci, calc BC, government) independent study on physics C. scored 5 in psych, 4 in euro, american, physics B, english language
ECs:
1st chair, 1st seat trombone, all county for only one year. District ORch, pit orch
mathletes
class council
student council
5 honor societies. President of science and VP of math.
Alot of small other ECs
Tutored here and there, earned about 50 hours of honor society volunteering

During the summer I did the Columbia Summer Program for genetics and molecular bio
I also work around 8 hours a week at a Kumon center teaching math and reading

Around 50 hours of volunteer at local hospital and 50 hours at a psychosocial club dealing with members with mental problems
Reccs: should be very good
Essays: should also be very good

Please help!!
