Hey, I am a female from Southern New York looking to get into SUNY Binghampton. I am applying EA and i was wondering what my chances are.

I have a 4.3 GPA out of a 4.5.
Taken Spanish, English, and TOK IB courses in 11, and 12th Grades
Took AP European History
-Took Honors Earth Science, 9th and 10th Grade Honors English, and 9th Grade Honors Global History, 9 and 10th Grade Honors Spanish
-Straight A's in 9th and 11th Grades
-A's and 3 B+'s in 10th grade

Still, SAT scores are not the ultimate determinate of getting in...grades are always more important, and you can always try raising your SAT to a 1200...

Being a Canadian, I haven't really gotten familiar with schools not in the top-30, but I know you can go somewhere better than SUNY. Also depends on what you want to major in.

I agree with Andrewv -- to assure your admission I think that you will need to raise your SAT.

Candi, the best person to answer that question would be your highschool college counselor. Even the worst counselors I have known are the best sources for chances for their students to local and state schools, as the school will have a track record of sorts for those schools. They can tell you what the past experience for that school has been.

I'd say you are in even with your current scores. Heck, I know people who got in with stuff 1/2 as good as yours.
