Since you are from Maryland, I would say that Maryland is a match/reach for you. You have a decent chance, but you do not have a great chance.

Get some good vocab book like Barrons and 10 Real SAT (I think they also have book with solutions). Learn the words and do the entire 10 RS. You will definitely raise your Math score.

Id say you have a good chance, Andrew, but I wouldn't expect Honors or Scholars.

I'll go as far as to say you're in already.

The average accepted stats for U of Maryland College Park are: 3.9 GPA, Verbal 570-670, Math 600-700.
Andrew, if you've taken more than the recommended units of math, languages and sciences, that will boost your chances. So will applying for priority consideration by November 1 - 89% of the freshman class is filled that way. I think you have a decent shot but as always, have a back up in mind like UCBC or Towson. Best of luck!
