Hey
My parents are planning to me move to a new school district in CAl. I am right now in a school with 788 API score(average/above school)and planning move to one of the best schools in CA with API of 874
I am probably going to move senior year and right now I am a Junior.
Do you think colleges would recognise this and will this benefit me and plus there will be more competition and the GPA, rank would change??
Do you guys think it is a good idea??
thanks

I moved before my senior year as well. Only my situation was even more extreme.....I moved from New Mexico to one of the best schools in CA!!! I hope colleges recognize what an enormous change this is. Good luck w/everything, let me know if you have questions I could help u with!

i would think it depends, someone moving from a good school to a better school would receive less benefit than someone moving from a bad/okay school to one of the best schools
