What are my chances....

sat- 1150
gpa- 4.1

3- honors (Trig/Bio/Algebra 2)
3- APs (Lit, Comp, Calc)

on student government- 2yrs

Soccer - 3yrs
Softball-3 yrs (co-captain)
volleyball-1 yr


working for a civil engineering firm for 4 years
work for a dermatology clinic- 1 yr
volunteered at Stanford hospital- 100 hrs


applying as a civil engineering major

What are my chances at University of Washington and Cal Poly SLO.

You must be from around Palo Alto. I was just up there this weekend, it's great! You really need to up the SAT score. Calpoly's overall average SAT is over 1200, and you'll need higher than that for engineering. Good luck!

Christina- Cal Poly's SAT average is a 1250(source-website) and a 1280 for engineering. I would recommend re-taking. You have a shot at both schools, as your GPA is high, but especially at CP, it's a numbers game. Poly doesn't even take rec's or listing of EC's. They just want to know how many hours you put in per week. SAT's are vital.

I improved my ACT score to 27!!!So does anyone think i have anymore of a chance?
