Hi, I'm going into my senior year and have been really nervous about which colleges I should consider applying to. Here are my stats:
Unweighted GPA: 3.75
SAT I: 1260(630M,630V)taking again in October hoping for at least 1300
Planning on taking SAT II's in November
4 on AP US History Exam
School does not rank but probably in top 30% in a class of 110.
Other:
German National Honor Society
Volunteered at a hospital last year
Translated for Russian orphans up for potential adoption this summer.
Went to an Engineering Camp at Catholic U this summer.
Class trip to Germany this summer.
Chess Club President and "Reincarnator".
Sports:
JV Hockey Freshman and Sophomore years
Varsity Junior and Senior
JV Lacrosse Sophomore year(hahhaa good fun)
Also speak Russian at home, but have lived in the U.S. for about 12 years.
Senior Schedule: AP Comp Sci, AP German, Religion, Utopian Literature,AP Calc AB,Physics, AP Economics, Physics(damn scheduling conflicts, couldnt take honors).
Considering going into Pre-med but still undecided.
I know that most of these are reaches but tell me what you think(maybe suggest some safetys):
URochester
Georgetown - EA
Umiami
NYU
UMD-possibly Scholars(heard of alotta people getting in with 1200's.
Brandeis
Haverford
Penn State.
Boston College
Boston University
Thanks!

You definately have a good chance at all of those schools! (NYU might be a little tough)... make sure you're original on your application.

Haverford is a push.
NYU tends to be a bit tough, which is less of a statement of your application, and more of where their selectivity is going. (But you don't know if you don't try!)
Some safe choices:
GWU
BU
Hobart-William Smith
Sarah Lawrence
University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana
University of Puget Sound
Grinnell College
Macalester College

Thanks a lot. I'll look into those colleges you posted. I just recently decided i might want to go into Pre-Med. so that kinda narrows it down, but thanks anyways!
