Here are my stats:
Are the schools that I have up resonable? My safety is UMD. I know you're probably thinking, "WHOA! TOO MANY REACHES" If I don't get into all those "big-name" schools, I'm going to UMD for sure because then, my college education will cost almost nothing. At least that's my plan ....... unless that's not a good idea. What do you think?
Please share honest/helpful comments. Thanks!
ps - Essays/Recs - very good

How many of your schools have you visited? Which do you like the best?

I've been to Penn, Stanford, MIT, and Princeton, Georgetown (right down the street ... almost), John's Hopkins, and UMD.
Caltech, and yale are ... well, I don't know them that well.

If you like MIT, also look at CMU, Carlton and Harvey Mudd. You will get a bump at the techie schools since you are female. As long as you have UMD as a safety and like the school, its fine if the rest of the list is a bit top heavy. Good luck!
