Ok. I want to transfer to UNC Wilmington sometime next fall. With added courses, do I have enough to get in?
Ethnicity: 1/8 Native American (Iriqouis, Cherokee, Cheyenne, Sioux Lakota Plains), 1/4 Italian, 1/4 Irish, 3/8 Anglo Saxon (Wales, Scotland, England)
SAT: 980 (Will retake)
GPA: 3.2 (W)
Eng. 112 (adv. course)-B
World Religions- (taking this semester)
Eng. 221 (adv. course)-(taking this semester)
World Civ.-(taking this semester)
I'd have to get back to you on my High school classes. I need to double check. I had a 3.0 GPA though.
ECs (from both college and high school):
American Rev. Reenactor
Volunteer for Historical Society
Cross Country (3 yrs in High School)
Newspaper (HS and college)
I have to get back to you on the rest. High school was only a year ago (I graduated in 2003) but I can't remember a lot.
I work at our city's local paper, full time, 40 hrs. /week.
Ok, so far, based on this information, I know I can't get into Wilmington. But what sort of grades would I need to make in my classes this semester to give me a better chance?
Also, what sort of score should I be aiming for in my SAT preparation?
Thanks for the time.
