I want to teach ancient or classical history at a college level, or perhaps do something else with it (such as archaeology). I'm open to international schools. Where should I apply? My stats are here:

I'd like to go to a competitive school.

Thanks a lot! I've been looking at Berkeley, and of course Yale is tempting, though I'm not sure whether I have a good shot at it. I've also been wondering about Cambridge in England. Any opinions on that?

Also, what are my odds of getting into Yale, Berkeley, Cambridge, or any upper ivy?

How about Vasser?

I was looking at vassar too, but its history department doesn't compete with Berkeley and upper ivies. Yale, Berkeley, Harvard and Stanford have the top history depts in the US I think.
