Here's my SAT 1 testing history

June 710 Verbal 590 Math - 1300 Oct.10 Verbal 620 Math - 1330
Nov 790 Verbal 640 Math - 1430

Since I had only two weeks between the OCT and NOV administrations, is it possible that colleges might interpret my 100 point quantun leap as a fluke ? Also, a lot of people are saying that the NOV test was easy -- is this true?

CORRECTION MY SCORES

JUNE.710 VERBAL 590 MATH-1300
OCT..710 VERBAL 620 MATH-1330
NOV..790 VERBAL 640 MATH-1430

I also had a wide disparity between my verbal and math scores. However, between sophomore and senior year, I increased about 200 points on math (I now have a 700 math, 1500 total). I did this by studying very hard. I would recommend going through the book 10 Real SATs and taking Pre-Calc, and trying again. Good luck! It is possible -- it worked for me.

Thanks for the SAT info. My son did take the ACT and did very well with a 31...so no more SAT's, he's going with the high ACT in hopes they will take note of it instead of the mediocre SAT. SAT II's were good, History=800, World History=760, Writing=760, MathIC=600(this is only average)..so again his "lopsidedness" comes through!!

um, i guess i'm one of your people with 1600s and perfect grades; but I don't think theres many of me out there, does that comfort you ;)...(1590 as a freshman, 800 math 2c 800 writing 800 physics 800 bio)

I'm afraid to say that the November test was horribly easy. I got a high score on my first try. Maybe the colleges dont know that though.

Was the november test easy? Really? I did better on it (130 points up from the oct test).

Wangs post has got me thinking. Will colleges know that the NOV test was easy? It is possible.
