UCLA, Berkeley, dunno... UCSD, Davis, Irvine, SC, SB, Riverside.

isn't Riverside has a more prestigious pre-med program than UCI and other UC's (not including UCLA, Berkeley, and UCSD of course) because their program is more demanding? I heard that you need to maintain a 4.0 to stay in the program. Is it true?

No, that isn't true, you don't need a 4.0 to stay in the program, it's just they have a special pre-med program that lets you cut out a year of med school and transfer to UCLA (that's not guaranteed, that's the catch).
