i honestly think you can get into both. Your stats are great. I think you have a better chance at getting into Georgetwon then into Columbia. But like i said i wouldnt suprised if u got into both.

ah thanks alot..any other thoughts? i thught lack of leadership might be a problem, everyone seems to have two or three presidency positions while im only president of something i myself founded.

I think you have a decent chance at both. The founding is good, but there is a definite lack of leadership. Are you planning to play tennis in college? Because possibly that would help you then. But, grades and scores are great. You are right in the ballpark

I think its awesome that you're hearing impaired yet you still are active in sports and EC's, not to mention the good academics and test scores. Mention that in your personal statement. I'd say you have a great chance at any place. You have a decent amount of leadership, it seems to me, since you were a director of an activity and a co-founder of a club, not to mention student council.

keep up the good work.

Columbia ED is easier to get into that Georgetown EA. They accept so many people ED that if you want to go there the most it would be foolish not to apply.

thanks alot for the input!

yeah, it certainly seemed that even though georgetown has the higher acceptance rate or 23% or so, the EA seems to be a bit more challenging at Georgetown than the ED-happy admissions of Columbia...anyone have an idea of which school i should apply early?

apply to Gtown early. At least if you're not sure you want to go there, you can change your mind. The acceptance rate for Gtown is 21% overall, with early about 23%. So there isn't that much of a difference(especially when generally the strongest applicants apply early). So i'd go with Gtown, unless you're set on Columbia.
