I got in...
Just got my admission packet by mail.
I got into the engineering school of UIUC!

So far,
accepted to Purdue, UMICH, UIUC engineering.

It's really hard...
I guess I'll go to UIUC instead of UMICH. I want to go to UMICH, but UIUC is cheaper... My parents aren't rich enough to pay all those money. Actually, they're gonna have to empty their life saving and loan money to send me to college. It's a big pressure on me.

Yeah I got into:
UIUC
UMIch
Purdue
Ohio State University
Still waiting on MIT, though I'm not holding my breath.

Oh yeah and UIUC and UMich are like 3k apart in price. Go to the one you want to.

I'm going UIUC and majoring in CompE.

I did mention about samsung scholarship at another thread. Basically they give out money for those who get accepted to good schools. I guess that couple thousand people apply for it But, samsung only gives out 40. I'm not sure what will happen if I don't get that scholarship. Anyway, I just wish I could get into Cornell.

Cru, there are some scholarships available in UIUC....... why dont u check them out? i dont kno, but the deadline may be over.... im not sure, but i got in as well, and yes, they told me that they had some scholarships, of which some everyone was evaluated for , and others for which you have to apply. Even if the deadline is gone, call them up and tell them that because it was international posting service, it got dealyed and u couldnt make it in time. They may consider it....

I was apart of the "cornell email fiasco" and i was a little pissed, but hey I got into every school but cornell, and I can deal with that!
