actually my GPA wasn't all that high, but the UC gpa calculator gives me alot of extra points for taking a grip and a half of AP Classes.
I'm in state and looking to go to UCLA, UC Berkeley, or UC Davis...
So...what are my chances?

For UCLA, and UC Berkeley you have a fair shot. For UC Davis you have a pretty good chance.

How do you expect to get in UCLA and cal with a 630 in mathIC. That's pretty damn bad. Hurry up and fix that. run run run.
Cambodia will help you for privates, but UCs won't even know unless you write about it in your Personal statement
All in all ... you're a shoe in for Davis ... Have a fair shot at UCLA .. and don't get your hopes up over cal.

My advice?
CC - I know, laugh away, but some schools (Santa MOnica, Mt SAC) are GREAT, and you are essentially guaranteed acceptance with a full-ride to the UC of your choice if you do well within your first two years.

The UC's mail acceptances now? I thought UCR is early March, and UCB and UCLA are late march...

The first batch of UCLA admissions are going up on the admissions web site at 4pm on March 14 (or at least that's when it's scheduled). Based on how many admittees accept/reject, they'll then do a rolling sequence of posting subsequent admissions lists until they fill out the class.
This process is specific to UCLA only.

UCLA called me @ 8:30am this morning regarding a discrepancy in my WIP form.
I guess that means they're still working on the apps?

I'm in the Air Force but I want to go to a Cal State when I get out. However, I've heard that most California colleges are very liberal and don't really like military. Do any of you think my military background will hurt my chances of getting in?

Rchahal2003,
UC Davis will be a piece of cake for you. I have a 2.8 (which albeit is lower than the entire university's average gpa, but I still got into EE, which is supposed to be the most difficult program at this school to get into). If you want to see my stats, I'm under a topic called "Transfer Chances to MIT, CIT" You'll probably get some sort of invitation to be in Integrated Studies or a Regents Scholarship here. However, if you are seriously into academics, you may want to reconsider where you want to end up studying. The one thing I regret most about how I decided to go here, is that I never actually came and visited. Be sure to do that! As you can probably guess, I'm not too happy with my choice (transferring after one year and all), but it might very well be the place for you. Just make sure you check out these places and maybe stay overnight and visit classes wherever you're really serious about. Hope this helps!
