how does the Fu Foundation at Columbia for engineering, etc., compare to the MITs and Caltechs?

Fu Foundation blows...the engineering school is ranked about 30 whereas MIT ranks 1 and Caltech somewhere in the top five. The best ivy engineering school is Cornell which rankes 7 or 8. Harvard, Princeton, and Yale are in the twenties.

I'd say students who choose CU for engineering typically want the NYC environment or hope to take advantage of the other resources of CU in addition to their engineering classes.

While Cornell is the easiest Ivy engineering to get into, it is one of the best. Columbia's strength is not in the Fu Foundation, but in the College and medical school for prospective business majors and doctors, respectively.

why did the title of this post seem so vulgar when I first read it?
