Which choice have a higher chance of getting accepted?
1) Going to rutgers for one semester and apply for spring semester at nyu.
-OR-
2) Going to rutgers for one year and apply for fall semester at nyu.

NYU will not accept transfers who have been at their current school for less than one year. If you're not a freshman, then another thing to consider is that not every NYU college accepts spring transfers.

Wait a minute - I didn't know NYU won't accept transfers that have been to the school for only one semester. Now I have a question. NYU will only allow transfers that will be sophomores the following semester. I'm a freshmen. How does this policy apply to me?

Editing that last message - for my program of study you must be a sophomore.
