Discus: What Are My Chances?: April 2004 Archive: Do non-transferable courses count into GPA?
By Asterisk (Asterisk) on Saturday, April 24, 2004 - 02:33 pm: Edit

During JC i took several non-transferable courses for UC, some of these courses i received B's in. I was wondering what my chances are as a CSE student at UCSD, or UCLA with the following GPA:

Without non-transferable courses: 3.726
With non-transferable courses: 3.604
Grades for major prep:
Calculus 1: A
Calculus 2: B (took my credit by examination, indicated i taught myself in 3 weeks on app, not that they care)
Calculus 3: IP
Differential Eq: IP
Physics 1: A
CS 1 (c++ objects): A
c++ data structures: A
Java objects: A
Java adv objects: A

i took several semesters with 20+ units, and credit by examed multiple subjects, if any of that has any bearing.
