hey im a high junior from nj i live right outside nyc i just wanted to kno what i can do this summer in terms of summer programs jobbs intership that arent too late to apply for thanksfor ur hellp

I think its about too late for most summer programs, but don't let that discourage you, there may be a few available with application deadlines at the end of April/ beginning of May. Check out Carnegie Mellon University's pre-college programs (App. Deadline is May 1, 2004 I think). Good luck.

In regards to admissions, I advise you to read a couple of books and build on to your writing abilities. A slam-dunk essay will get you very far.

Try the Columbia High School Summer Program. I don't know if the app deadline is passed though.
