im going to be taking my senior year of high school at a local college. i was wondering if it wud be more effective to try applying as a transfer student or just as a normal high school student?

If you're taking the courses as a high school student who has not graduated yet, you will be considered a freshman applicant.

In addition to that (I've done college classes since my freshman year, by the way), it's just crazy to transfer into college. It's discouraged at the top universities, in fact. So, do apply as a freshman, not a transfer.
You can challenge a few courses here and there, if you so desire. =) (provided the school allows this)
