hey, im wondering about my chances to possibly make it into a low tier ivy (Penn or cornell) or high rated private school.
unweighted gpa: 3.7
weighted: around 4.3
sat: dont know yet but best will probably be 1400-1450
extracurric: varsity football, varsity track captian (indoor and outdoor), young republican club member, future business leaders of America member (maybe prez next year)
legacy: grandpa, uncle, aunt all went to UPenn
senior courses: ap calc, ap physics, ap latin, hon english, enginerring + abnormal pscyh at local college
APs: govt, lang + comp, psych, latin vergil, latin lit, physics, calc. all other academic classes are honors.
SAT 2s: taking physics, writing and math 2 in june.

Looks good. If one of the two is a clear favorite, consider applying ED, especially for Penn.

It would make a huge diffrence probably if they had a good friend on the board of admission.
