"secondary school record" is your high school record/transcript
talent/abilities are things that you are exceptionally good at or excel at such as singing in chorus,

but how is secondary school record any different than gpa and how is talent/ability any different than extracurriculars?
maybe i am just slow, lol.

the secondary school record is basically your transcript (pretty much your gpa) and talent/ability hmm...i dont think that would be much different from your ECs...

secondary school record is more than just your GPA. It is your HS profile and your grade profile. That is, did you take the harder classes offered a your school? Did you show improvement through the years? etc.
