What are the best schools I have a chance at? Just wondering.
White female
33 ACT
720 V
740 M
4.0 GPA (Unweighted)
8 honors classes
AP U.S. Hist (5), English, Gov, Calc AB, Spanish
Good Public suburban school in Oklahoma

NHS, Spanish Club, Spanish National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Student Council Staff (2 years), Randolph Macon Woman's College Book Award (for academics and leadership), Student Council Leadership Award, Who's Who, artist with work featured in yearbook.

Church youth group
Church choir
Church softball team
Approx. 45 hrs misc.community service

Parents did not go to college
Have worked after school and during summer since I was 11.

Where do you go to school? I live in Oklahoma too. I go to school in Edmond. (Edmond North Highschool to be precise).

Imo, just by feel, you have a shot at the Ivies...hence you should apply to any school that strikes your fancy, save (obviously) schools like
Cal Tech & MIT since you're not inclined towards the sciences.

Caveat: you don't mention your SAT II scores.

In your favor: geography (Oklahoma is a rarer source than many states), your work background (will be looked at very favorably), and the fact that your parents didn't go to college.

Your EC's are in the solid-but-not-brilliant
category. Delete the "Who's Who" award...they don't look at that.

My best guess is that you'd do best in a sub-sub-Ivy school, say something one notch below the Little Ivies (Williams, Amherst, et alia).
But your positives just might hook the right "higher" school if catch the karmic wind right.
