I have a question. Most of us are about to go off into the "real world" and we're probably looking to go somewhere with job mobility, somewhere where we can get promoted. I don't understand something. Let's say you worked at IBM as a computer programmer. You're very good at your job and you look to get promoted, perhaps eventually to Manager or Superviser, but you don't have the skills to be either. You are just a very good computer programmer. Why are you promoted?
