i applied to steinhardt as a music business major and i was wondering if anyone knew anyone else in the same boat and what their scores/music background/ecs were like? or if you knew anyone that wasn't even selected for an audition?

i've taken all the honors/APs my school has to offer. my 1st semester GPA is a 3.3 UW.

SAT I: 1160
Math - 570
Verb - 590

SAT II:
writing - 600
math IC - 540

my SATs suck for NYU, i know that, but did they even take that into account when i was forwarded to the music biz dept? cos i was surprised they even called me for an audition. someone tell me something that'll give me hope. like *sarcasm* my friend got a 1410 and is a world class pianist *sarcasm*

i mentioned how i started an entertainment website + photographed/interviewed a buncha major label artists (def jam island/geffen/interscope/warner...) and i mentioned my taste in music ranging from everything to everything, wrote down gene kelly -> muddy waters -> mtv -> mozart -> fred astaire...blah blah... (to kind of show im not an MTV kid and that i kind of know my shiz, i guess...i dont know, or was that just completely stupid. haha)
