Hey Guys,
Since I am a sophmore and the new sat's apply to my graduating class will colleges look at the old sat's if I take them. One of my friends told me that if I take the old sat's colleges wont accept them from me. So do you guy know anything about this. Thanks

Some schools have already said that they will require all members of the graduating class of 2006 to take the new SATs. There's a list of the schools who've already said this at www.collegeboard.com but you can expect that more schools will be saying the same thing as the new test becomes the standard. Safest bet is to plan on taking the new test next year.

Actually, I believe what those schools have said is that for the class of 2006 they will require a writing exam and thus will accept either the new SAT or, alternatively, the old SAT plus the SAT II writing exam.
