I applied to UC Berkeley, LA, SD, Davis & Irvine.

(i have already been accepted into UCI w/ a chancellors schlrshp.)

So based on my stats, wut r my chances of gettin accepted to each? im so skurrd... >.>UC weighted GPA: 4.25

|\ i am aiming for UCB or UCLA (both! oh yea!)... and now im really freaking out...there are so many smart outstanding students who are hopin to get into either/both of the aforementioned UCs... /|

What's your UW GPA? What are you looking to get into in the future? Well, I think UCLA would be a kind of target and UCB a reach. Why do you write like that? I hope this is your online personality.

As a Chancellor Scholar you are in the top 0.5% applicant pool at UCI. I don't think the top 0.5% at UCI is only a "may be" at UCB. Haruko is giving too much credit to UCB or at the borderline of insulting the admission process at UCI.

Let me try and analyze your stat!

There are many Writing score of 800 (but I say an impossibility for the majority of applicants). How many applicants would also have year over year of English dept. award? I say very very very few. I bet you are an excellent writer and the chances are your essays are awesome. UCB needs this 800 score to show an upward trend in SAT2 and will recognize your English strength.

Your ECs are simple, but shows long term and very focused commitment. There are presidents to clubs but only one "President" to your Freshman Class which is much tougher to get. There are not too many Reps. to district ASB either. How many applicants have 530 hours ER (probably very strssful)experience like you?

You have the equivalent of 10 APs (6 APs + 4 college classes) which are above the UCB pool. ELC ALONE gives you 62% and 52% chance of admission at UCB and UCLA, respectively, based on 2003 stat.

There are only 15,000 Nat'l Merit Finalist in the entire US! You are 1 of them. UCB wants it, trust me.

I say 410 you will sweep all 5 UCs. and please keep us posted on your admits!! Good luck.

Haruko, I think 410's on-screen writing style must have confused you and caused you not to read 410's stat objectively.
