I know the UC campuses are not suppose to consider the ethnicity of a campus...but you know how they love "diversity." Now I have very low stats and I applied to the top UC universities with no safety school...I think my chances are fair. Has anyone ever thought about other factors such as 1st generation, low income, ethnicity, etc.... Or am I the only non-white rich kid in here?

UC doesnt love diversity, whered you get that from? the two main races there- asian and white. Thats it. Admissions to UC is based nearly 100 percent on a gpa/sat2 scale.

Carlene, may I ask you to share these stats? I'm curious... if you don't want to I understand completely. But maybe if we had them we could give you a more thorough evaluation.
