Ok, the GPA is very good, the average for UCSD last year was about a 3.9, so a 4.1 gives you a slight advantage. The SAT is right around average for the matriculating UCSD student. What concerns me a little is your SAT II's. In the UC system, SAT II's count for TWICE as much as the SAT I. A 560 Writing and a 590 Chem are not particularly high, but it should not present too much of a problem. How are your EC's? Did you describe any hardships in the essays? Overall, I don't see why you wouldn't be admitted. Good Luck and keep us posted.

hahaha yeah. most on the site have 1400+, nearly perfect SATIIs, etc. My stats are slightly lower than yours, 1210, 650wr 630his 6201c (=1900), but my GPA is a 3.7UC weighted. :/ what are my chances? i got into UCI if that helps. oh, and two years ago, my sister had a 3.8, 1130, and 550wr, 5301c, 650his, and she got in. So who knows? shes's studying history, im studying poli sci. maybe it depends on major?
