Most definitely the first case. An upward trend is always good. Junior year is probably most important I suppose.

Ya i agree with voigtrob i sucked my freshman and soph yrs(3.3-3.5 or 6) but then my junior and senior i started doing well. So i agree an upward trend looks better then a downward trend.

lol, this is funny. unless the 1st one comes with an explanation about the first couple years (like death or something), i'm going to argue for As and Bs for all 4 years, J0h, because it shows that this person is consistent.

I'd say junior grades matter the most.
