Hey guys, thanks for reading all that. I'm not sure what I should do for my senior year just yet. Should I add more ECs? I'm hoping to break 1350 on my SATs, and probably get ~650-700 on SAT IIs. Testing just isn't my thing, but I do pretty well in class. The schools I'm looking at currently are UPenn(stretch?), Haverford College, and Wesleyan University. Any thoughts? Thanks.

U Penn is a strech with under a 1400 and under 700's on your SAT II's, so I'd strive for higher, but your GPA and EC's are impressive...so Haverford and Wesleyan should accept you...assuming you at least match your target test scroes.

i think haverford looks more for people who have very distinct and unique personalities, so the numbers aren't necessarily DIRE. however, it definitely would help if you get 1400+ on your SATs and 700+ on SAT IIs. all three schools are really tough to get into, but like aclock said, your EC's and gpa are strong, so just work on those standardized tests and you'll be golden. good luck!

UPenn is not a stretch at all. Just go to the UPenn board and you will see how many people under a 1400 got in. I have a good friend who got into UPenn and she had like a 1340, so I definitely think you have a great chance, especially w/ the 4.0. Good luck!

Wow, thanks for all the constructive criticism guys! Yeah, I just took my SAT today, so I should be getting those back in 2 weeks. I think I did pretty well... but ya never know. I'm thinking anywhere from ~1300-1400. I'll post 'em up when I get them.

Unrelated, but wow! You play baritone? You're like the first other person I've met who plays, outside of school and comps and stuff. And with that, you could try out for county/district/state bands, if you are good enough. They're a low time commitment, but colleges, especially LACs like Haverford and Wesleyan, love creativity and artisticness. HTH.

Yo, y´all think I´ll get into UPenn being trilingual and having an A-/B+ overall high school average, I´m doing a special foreign language program this year too. Can someone just tell me what UPenn desires from most applicants? If you´ve had a relative go or something, hit me back, I´d appreciate the feedback. Thanks.
