Discus: What Are My Chances?: January 2004 Archive: SAT Scores..

I have taken the SAT once but I didn't send the scores anywhere.. Now, if I take the SAT again and then send the scores to the colleges, will they know about my earlier scores? thanks.. :)

I certainly hope so, and I'm almost certain they do.

I took SATIs three times and SATIIs a couple, and I only signed up to send scores on my final SATII. I sent the scores to six colleges, and recieved two letters from the college board after my last SAT with the listings of the colleges I sent them to AND a listing of ALL of my SAT scores (Is and IIs). I'm assuming, then, that the SAT score sheets sent to the colleges of my choosing include the same information that collegeboard sent me in the letters.

There is no option for you to pick which scores to send from collegeboard, so I'm relatively certain that each score report sent to a school includes all scores graded to date.

Every SAT I and SAT II scores are sent to the colleges that u specify. You can't leave a particular test out.

If you take the SATs once and send them to 4 schools, then take them again and send them to 4 different schools will the first set of schools be notified of your new scores?

No, they will not unless you send out the core report again.

what if i use a different account for registration the next time, will they still know about my scores?

Unless you took the SAT before 9th grade, all SAT scores will be included on your score reports. Only middle school SAT scores aren't kept. There's no way to avoid this.

yeah, the stupid college board got rid of score choice, so if you send your score report to any school, they will see all of your testing results. even if you made a different account for registration, you're still the same person (obviously, lol), so that doesn't matter. sorry, buddy :-\

How do they recognise you as a different person if you don't enter your SSN (I am an international so i don't have an SSN) There can be hundreds of other student's with my name and birth date..
