Nominees are the SAT 1 (or converted ACT) top 20 males and top 20 females plus ties from each state. Scores are taken from a single sitting-no composites. Doubtful that New York goes below 1590.

I have the link but am not sure if i can post it. anyways its on the official website so google it and youll find it. It does vary from state ie one girl from utah i know got a 1520 and is a candidate whereas in more compeititive states like nj, mass and ny, youll need somewhere around 1590-1600
