hey, im just starting my second semester of junior and desperately want to go to NYU. if you guys could give me a couple opinions...i know my chances aren't great, but i want to see how bad they are, exacly:
white female
GPA: 3.1 (yeah, i know)
SAT I: 1400
-i go to a competitive, private, midwestern school that seems to be well known by most of the top colleges
-i did speech and debate for 2 years with moderate sucess, and i now do mock trial and the team should go to nationals this year
-i'm an editor of my schools newspaper
-i will graduate with 150+ community service hours
-for the past two years i did summer writing programs, and plan to intern with a newspaper this summer
-i can write a very good essay
-good recs
i know i dont really have much of a chance, but i thought maybe if i applied early.......thanks for the opinions.

hmm...i think ull be fine
i have applied RD and have the GPA but no SAT Score
try and raise ur GPA this yr and during the 1st semester of ur senior yr....a 3.3 would look better than a 3.1!
