Um...depends what school your applying to at BU. Williams is probably ur hardest school to get into...Tufts, Wellesley and BC might not like the C+, but just hope you have really good essays and recs.

I think you'll be fine in terms of your midyear reports (is that AP Calc BC? If so I'm pretty sure schools are understanding about that class in particular). I have very similar stats and I applied ED II to Tufts. I get my decision on Feb 1 and I'll let you know. Good luck!

Eh, I'm getting a bit worried here...
IB Higher Level Math- B
IB Higher Level Chem- B
IB Higher Level English- B
IB Standard Level Econ- B (nobody in class has an A)
IB Higher Level History- A (toughest class at school, and my intended major)
Theory of Knowledge- A
As a trend through my HS years, I've always done much worse the 1st semester before finishing the year strong. This semester was no exception.
My school's IB program is a notorious grade deflator, so these kind of grades senior year are very common even among the top students. And within the program, my HL/SL course selection is pretty much *the* most demanding compared to my peers.
*But,* I had a very stressful and ground-shattering family situation during the semester which I know were a terrible distraction. If my GC writes a note explaining this situation, will it ameliorate the drop?
