Whats freshman engineering?...its under the majors in Engineering school

And one more thing: I want to do Compputer Science but thats not under Engineering but School of sciences. Does that matter a lot?, coz purdue is known more for engineering than other things

I think it would make a difference. According to US news Purdue is ranked 13 in computer engineering and 20 in computer science.The best schools in Computer science would be MIT,CMU,University of Michigan Ann Arbor,UIUC, JHU and University of Texas-Austin
