I have a bad feeling that i am going to get a rejection letter from UCLA or UCB.
My school is REALLY competative, I am not that high up in the ladder when it comes to comparing me with them.
My stats:
SAT: probably around 1420
SAT2 : math- 780, writing- 690 - physics- 710
did not take PSAT for personal matters
1 weighted class fresh year
4 weighted jr year
5 weighted sr year
alotta acc classes too...
AP tests: would have taken 9 and probably will get all 4s, few 3s maybe, like 1 5. (do sr year AP test grades even matter?)
i am VERY involved in clubs. i have a lot of positions (thats all u need to knw i dont think u wanna read the list and frankly i dont wanna type it)
200+ hours community service
did a big communiy service thing in Turkey over the summer
no college classes
none of those research or whatever programs at universities
My GPA will be around 4.3 . i have all As except 1 B+ in badminton
orchestra student since elementary school
really nothing too extreme..
Turkish female
should i consider ACT?
Is there anything i can do that will increase my chances, summer programs etc?
What are my chances for UCSD, UCLA, UCB, NYU? please be honest!
Thanks have a great year everyone

"1 weighted class fresh year
4 weighted jr year

Is that your class rank or did you have a GPA of 1.0 in your freshmen year?
I think you have a very good chance to get in all those schools. You probably have a decent shot at an Ivy League school as well.

wow you just made my day.
its just funny that the rest of my school is so much more advanced than I am..
plus i didnt understand ur question? i had other classes that werent weighted too...
MY school offers all the AP classes u can imagine....many people take at least 3 thei soph year, 4 their jr and 5 their sr. THats why i worry.
THanks for your imput!
Do u recommend anything i could do in the summer?

Do you live in California? If so, I'd venture to say that you're in at UCLA and have a great shot at Berkeley...
