I live in california and basically ONLY applied to uc's.... with the exception of Cal Poly...
am I being too risky by applying to such few schools??
I applied to... UC santa cruz , UC davis , UC santa barbara , UC san diego , UCLA
and Cal Poly
SAT I: 1250
SAT II's :
Math : 720
Writing : 650
French : 540
gpa: 3.83
Should I apply to more schools to secure my chances of getting in??

You should be ok, but you can never be too safe. If there's time, why not?

I think you'll be fine but if you'd asked a month or so ago, I'd have suggested throwing in one or two cal state schools just as safeties. Unfortunately, at this point, most of the "popular" cal states have closed admissions but some are still taking applications - www.calstate.edu
