US colleges are quite familiar with the A-Level system, and will treat it like a GPA, though I'm not sure what the conversions are like.
What results you will need depend on which schools you are applying to.

hey man,,i'm giving Alevels in june 2004 and have applied to the colleges below..i was wondering if any1 could give a realistic estimate of my chances at the following places:
Upenn, Stanford, Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, MIT, Middlebury, UChicago and Williams.
SAT 1 - 1450 (670 V, 780 M)
SAT 2's - writing 730
maths IIC 800
chemistry 800
Apart from that...i gave my Olevels and AS levels and got straight A's (10 A's in Olevels and 4 A's in AS levels)
lots of ECs

My school does not have a ranking system or GPA, however according to my school report book...i lie somewhere in the top 5% of all students...(240 students)...though this info wont go to the colleges
Plz gimme a realistic assessment of my chances...
oh yeah..i'll be asking for some financial aid...about half of the total fees
oh yeahh..
i'm giving the following APs/A-level subjects

and ive got great teacher recs and good essays
oh yeah...is it ok to send in more than 2 teacher recs to a university..or will they just gett pissed off with the extra stuff?
