Hey guys, I've been really worried lately because I was deferred from Duke ED. Ive decided on some other schools. Here are my stats. Tell me what you think, honestly.
SAT I- 710 V 720 M (Retaking again in Jan)
SAT II History- 650
SAT II Math 2 c- 670
SAT II Writing-700
AP US-3
AP Eng Comp-4
Ap World-3
This year taking AP Bio, AP Calc BC, AP Econ, AP English Lit.
GPA 4.0 Most grades above 90..
1/1240 I attend a large public school. Our school considers all students with 4.0's to be number one, but it distinguishes students into three graduating categories (with honors). I am in the top one (only about 30 students) Suma Cum Laude.

-NHS, Newspaper, Principals Leadership league, Wrote Biography for Elderly Community Biography Book
-UIL Academic Team

- Tutoring (Last year 6th grader tutored every week.. unpaid)
-This year tutor Algebra for freshman 3 times a week--- paid.
-Volunteer at nursing home
-Competitive Horseback Rider for 10 years- Local, State and National awards (I wrote my essay about finding and deciding to sell my first horse)
***Duke Pre-College Program Last summer for 6 weeks took undergrad classes (Calculus and Women's studies seminar) Grades- A- and B+ (good grades for that school) I am sending this school's transcript with apps.
Great Teacher Reccs. Great Counselor Recc.
Schools I am applying to...
Brown
Dartmouth
Northwestern
Notre Dame
Wake Forest
Vanderbilt
Middlebury
What parts of my application are good/bad? What are my chances?
Thanks everyone
Brittany

I agree with the others your SAT II's are hurting you, not your SAT I. Other than those your stats seem to be great. Too bad you didn't get in. You seem like a good candidate.
